I have recently developed an addiction. Not a bad addiction but an addiction nonetheless. It seems I am addicted to halloumi. Not just any halloumi but Olympus halloumi. Recently, I tried a few different brands but for squeakiness, saltiness, flavour, the way it cooks and value for money, Olympus won hands down. It also scored extra points because it’s made right here in Brisbane and in fact is the only cheese factory within five kilometers of the Brisbane CBD. Continue reading

There aren’t many things that rate higher in my opinion and especially not when said baked goods contain cinnamon – it warms my heart. Home-baked biscuits are such a wonderful treat and they freeze beautifully so you can always have some on hand for when guests drop by or you need a little something sweet with your morning coffee.
